Haunted Wedding

Standing in the chapel, my heart beating
A day of joy or a fatal meeting
Whispers in the air, shadows on the wall
Feeling like the heavens will fall

People all around, bridesmaids in a row
But a crimson tint starts to show
Outside the windows, sky turns gray
Birds gather 'round, like doomsday

Haunted wedding, my doubts inside
Church bells ring, nowhere to hide
In his eyes, will I find peace?
A love to trust that will never cease

Voices in my head, whispers in the pews
Is this the path I’m meant to choose?
Every step I take, the floorboards creak
My future so bright, now feels so bleak

But when I see him, all tall and proud
In his eyes, I’m lost, amidst the crowd
He takes my hand, and all is clear
The love we have will conquer fear

A sign of hope, a wedding ring
